Notes: Stidfole and his brother Alan (who signed with the Jays in 2006 as a non-drafted free agent) were the No. 1 and 2 starters at Penn State. Stidfole has a four-pitch repertoire, including an 88-91 mph fastball and a quality slider. He was pressed into an emergency starting role in 2006 due to injuries but had 2.56 ERA as a reliever and 7.29 as a starter. Stidfole has an athletic frame and throws his curveball with a tight rotation locates it well. He also has an effective circle change and works the corners well.
